12 x Acoustic Treatment Panels (CATS 2)

Our CATS 2 panels fix to your studio walls and have been specifically developed to cater for voice frequencies (300Hz and 3.5kHz). The panels not only complete the look of a radio studio but help to stop your broadcasts from sounding as though they are hosted from a bathroom!

CATS 2 Panels are particularly effective in new-build schools and where rooms have smooth, hard, flat walls, sometimes with lots of glass and reflective surfaces. The panels are available in a variety of colours, are 1010mm x 610mm and can be mounted either horizontally or vertically, depending on the size and shape of your room.

Minimum Room Requirements

The S-RADIO Studio is approximately 1700mm x 850mm x 1200mm (W x D x H).

In order to accommodate for the studio furniture, the recommended room size is 3M x 4M. It is possible for the radio studio to fit within a 3M x 3M or 3M x 2M space but smaller spaces make the studio a little claustrophobic!

If your proposed radio room is on the small size, we will happily design some custom furniture to make the best of a smaller space.

S-Radio Mixing Desk with a 5 Year Warranty

The S-Radio mixer is extremely simple to operate. It offers all of the ‘must have’ features, some of the ‘would be nice’ and none of the ‘don’t need’. With a 5 year warranty and a digital connection to the PC, The S-Radio mixing desk is uncluttered, uncomplicated and designed specifically for use within an education environment.

22” Touchscreen and Mic Live / On Air Indicator

Because we at Synergy School Radio believe in value for money, ALL of our radio studio packages come with a 22” touch-screen monitor and a dual Mic Live / On Air Indicator.

The S-RADIO software suite has been specifically developed for touch operation and can be controlled using the screen, mixer, keyboard or mouse. Essential equipment for any professional radio studio.

1Tb + 1Tb RAID Configured Hard Disks

All S-Radio packages now come with two 1Tb Hard Disks.

In addition to being able to store all of your audio for a very long time, the second 1Tb Hard Disk is configured with RAID to keep a mirrored copy of all your valuable audio files.

Telephone Balance Unit

Enable phone calls to contribute to your radio programmes. Perhaps the Prime Minister doesn’t have the time to visit your school but does have 5 minutes for a phone call!

Callers can be sent ‘straight to air’ or simply recorded ‘off air’ ready to broadcast later, this is known in the industry as ‘as live radio’

The S-Radio Software is designed to make phone calls extremely safe, simple and industry standard. Instead of ‘bolting on’ additional third party VOIP software where callers require an account and quality is often compromised, our solution is beautifully integrated, in the same way we integrate commercial radio stations phone systems and uses the industry standard - the telephone network!

Download music at incredible prices from one of the worlds largest on-line music databases.

Exclusive to schools, charities and non-profit organisations, this music download service enables you to download up to 660 music tracks for just £300 a year, that’s the equivalent to 46p a track!

Many school buildings these days use IP phone systems, this poplar alternative to an analogue phone line renders many telephone systems that come with radio studios unusable. Our brilliant telephone package works regardless of whether your building uses analogue or IP phone lines, saving you from investing in ‘can’t use’ features, getting the result you expect!

Portable recorders are a brilliant addition to any radio station. Our portable recorder kits enable you to create high quality MP3 recordings that via USB or the supplied SD card can be copied onto your S-RADIO or SYNERGY RADIO studio.

Streaming Solutions

Streaming is a fantastic way to broadcast your radio shows to your listeners using your schools existing network or via an internet connection to the world-wide-web.

Streams can be accessed via web-browsers, mobile phone apps and other media players that have a network or internet connection, like windows media player.
