There are may ways to broadcast your radio station. One of the most popular and reliable methods is to connect your S-RADIO or SYNERGY Radio Studio to an amplifier with speakers located around your school.

Speakers can be installed in corridors, atriums, classrooms, canteen areas and also outside spaces.

The speaker packages below are representative of typical installations for a school.

•Hardwired or Networked Installations? We do both!

It is possible to connect your radio studio to speakers around the school by either, running new speaker cable from the radio studio to the various speakers, or by using your existing network cabling to connect between the radio studio and the various areas where speakers are installed.

While networked installations can sometimes be quicker to install, as you simply ‘plug and play’ between areas. The cost to do this is largely determined by the amount of areas you want to broadcast to and the distance between the speakers in the areas.

You will require an audio ‘de-coder’, network point and mains power in every area, and depending on the distance between areas and individual speakers, you may require mains, a network point and ‘de-coder’ for every speaker.

For new buildings

Provision should be made during the planning and build stages to run speaker cable from the radio studio to the locations where you want to broadcast. This is always the cheapest and most reliable option.

For existing buildings

Depending on the location of power and network points, it is possible to either hardwire (as above) or use the schools network cabling to connect the radio studio to your chosen areas.
