Clyde Broadcast Products LTD

WHO WE ARE

Staff at Clyde Broadcast have been designing and equipping radio stations since 1980.
The company has well over 100 years of combined expertise, having equipped stations large and small,
all over the world.

Our customers range from state broadcasting organisations to community stations, from major
commercial radio groups to schools and further education establishments.

Large quantities of Clyde-manufactured equipment can be found throughout the BBC and in most leading
commercial stations across the UK.

At one time, 14 out of Bangkok’s 40 FM stations had studios which used Clyde equipment and systems.
Clyde designed, built and equipped Kenya’s first commercial radio station – over 12 years ago – and that
equipment is still running 24/7 to this day.

Throughout Malaysia, from Kota Bahru in the north, via Kuala Lumpur, to Johor Bahru in the south, Radio
Television Malaysia broadcast for many years from Clyde equipment.

Recently Clyde have installed digital radio stations in Nigeria, Kenya, Libya and throughout India

Clyde equipment can be found in North and South America, in Europe, throughout the Indian subcontinent,
in south-east Asia, China, Australia, New Zealand and in many African countries.
Closer to home, leading broadcast organisations such as the Global Radio Group (who recently purchased
Chrysalis Radio and the G-CAP groups), EMAP Radio and the Guardian Media Group all own numerous
stations all equipped by Clyde.

The UK’s three national commercial broadcasters – Virgin Radio, Classic FM and TalkSport have all used
equipment and systems designed and equipped by Clyde.

Wherever there is radio reception in the UK, it is possible to hear at least two stations which broadcast
from Clyde equipped studios.

So, irrespective of your size, location, expertise or budget, whether you are broadcasting on DAB, FM,
AM, DRM or the internet, if your format is music, sport, news and current affairs or a combination of
these, if your audiences are measured in millions or hundreds, why not make use of Clyde’s extensive
experience and expertise to help you on the way.

WHAT WE DO

There are few companies anywhere in the world that offer the wide range of services provided by Clyde
Broadcast.

There are plenty of program consultants who will talk to you about programming, technical consultants
who will advise with equipment requirements and selection, acousticians and architects who will create
layouts and building designs, large numbers of equipment manufacturers, installation and integration
companies, various support organisations and of course, plenty of training providers.

If you are very lucky, this myriad of experts will speak the same language, they may even be in the same
time zone and with a bit of luck some of them may really have worked on a similar project to yours in the
past.

But what a headache having to first identify, then engage, co-ordinate and motivate such a disparate
group of experts!

Fortunately, Clyde Broadcast can offer support and assistance with all of these issues, and can help
identify and work with local experts, who though themselves may never have worked on a radio station
project before, are quite capable of re-deploying their skills given the correct framework, advice and
instruction.

At Clyde, we speak radio.
