SYNERGY represents a brand new approach to equipping a radio studio.  The traditional method is to select the individual components - the main ones being the mixer, the software and some CD/MD players.  These disparate components then need to interface with each other to make them work together.   This can either be undertaken by station engineers, or by hiring an external system integrator, and can often be quite challenging - with plenty of scope for ‘passing the buck’ between suppliers individual items, support and training.
